Does anybody else get the feeling that in six months “Inglourious Basterds” parodies are going to be as played out as “300” parodies were? I’m just asking. But for now this is good.

Call me petty and nit picky, but I spent way too much time trying to figure out what a “plummer” was, until I had realized they had misspelled “plumber” several times.

Or is this misspelling some sort of Mario universe thing?

Nope. Tarantino just won’t explain why he misspelled ‘Inglourious’, whereas ‘Basterds’, is phonetic apparently.

A better question would be: “Are Mario parodies more played out than 300 parodies ever were, or could be?” And the answer is FUCKING YES THERE IS NO FRESH WAY TO APPROACH THAT GODDAMN CONCEPT ANY MORE.
