The future of Broadway – musical remakes of Arnies biggest hits (and misses)
Breathtaking!
Hmmm….the score and plot seemed rather derivate and edged close to trite, the singing was subpar and the recurring motif was flat. A decent effort but eclipsed by Medea:The Musical and Eating Raoul: The Musical. If you do see Medea: The Musical either bringa rain slciker or where clothes you dont mind getting stained if you are sitting in the first five rows.
Scrapped lines for the final bridge:
“I’m calling this a divaaaarrrrr-ce!”
“Look at this three-braahsted whoaaarrrrr!”
“The Maaahtians just didn’t waahnt to braaathe anymooaaaaarrrr!”
…
I can’t decide if I’m more impressed than horrified, or more horrified than impressed.
