So basically, leave the tv off this week.

Having seen the first episode of Torchwood, the first half is boring RTD – I didn’t even know that was possible – and the second half is proper batshit crazy RTD. Definitely worth watching.

Hmm, so you’d recommend The Borgias? I got bored by episode 7 and turned off episode 8 like, three minutes in.

Ok, what I’m asking, instead of sounding a little douchey, is … would MGK recommend sticking to it to the end?

The Borgias lulls a bit around episode 7 and 8, but makes up for it with a killer finale.

Anybody know what the ‘T’ stands for? Wikipedia informs me that his full name is Russell Stephen Davies.

Then again, Urban Dictionary claims that he is the master of the gay agenda, so I guess I shouldn’t believe everything that The Internet says.

I tried to tape off the first episode of “Outcasts” a few weeks ago, but my DVD recorder refused to tape it. (It did the same thing with “The Event” and “Teen Wolf”. Obviously, it has better taste than I do.)

Outcasts is kind of the most boring space colony show ever made, but it isn’t a total waste.

It’s good to see Hermione Norris in anything, Eric Mabius is suitably evil, but his character actually has a few good points, and Amy Manson is OMG so gorgeous why isn’t she in anything else.

Oh sure, now everyone stops dying in Torchwood…

Too bad there’s no more Sarah Jane Adventures. Sigh. 🙁

I realized recently that it wasn’t so much the simple fact of Ianto dying that was pissing me off… after all I’ve always liked the “Torchwood die young” element… but it’s that he died THE STUPIDEST DEATH EVER. They just marched up to the Big Bad and said “you suck” and so it killed Ianto.

He deserved either the big hero-sacrifice death, or maybe an ultimate-treachery death (“That’s right, Ianto, it was ME! Too bad you won’t live to tell anyone except you will leave some critical clue that will alert the others in the nick of time, thus foiling my plan from the afterlife!”)

So far I’m liking Miracle Day though.
