I’m not going to lie, it was pretty jarring for me to see “favourite” spelled without the “U” coming from a Canadian blogger.

It actually goes a bit further than that. If she has a masters in Journalism, odds are she has a coursework rather than thesis based masters, which speaking as someone who has one (I gots me a JD), are not exactly the most onerous things in the world unless you’re going for a fairly competitive MBA programme.
