I could see “Tales From the Bar” as a talking heads comic. If it was clip art or photos you could even do ones like the previous Tolkien/Lewis one. ‘Cause this is definitely The Funny…

The points made were all too true…

“The society which scorns excellence in plumbing because plumbing is a humble activity and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy because it is an exalted activity will have neither good plumbing nor good philosophy. Neither its pipes nor its theories will hold water.”
–John W. Gardner, Forbes magazine, Aug. 1, 1977

(Yeah, I know… this was about lawyers, not philosophers… But isn’t law just philosophy codified? Which makes lawyers stand-up philosophers… Or something like that.)

Pooooooooooop. You can *always* make poop funny.

This was beautiful. And thought-provoking. But mostly just plain, excellently-written funny.

The funny thing…the majority of plumbing ISN’T sanitation, when you think about it. You could look at it in terms of another trade, though, like being an electrician, and then there’s NO poop. :D

Surely there’s something about the versatility of the law degree? It opens the door to criminal law, intellectual property, real estate, politics, punditry, etc./ad nauseum. Plumbers just get to fix different types of toilets. Or maybe sinks.
