In this week’s issue of Countdown To Final Crisis (official motto: “Redefining “Worse” For Twenty-Three Issues And Counting”), Jimmy Olsen makes out with the second Forager.
Forager is, lest we forget, a humanoid bug. She doesn’t even look particularly sexy in a human way. Not even in a sexy alien way.
Thus, I eagerly await a solicitation of Jimmy Olsen, Bugfucker.

I can’t treat Countdown seriously in the least, not just for the utterly wretched writing from creators I normally consider aces, but the simple fact that every time I see a book with that logo the opening of ‘The Final Countdown’ by rock legends Europe flits through my brain.
‘Doo doo dooo doo. . .DOO DOO DOOOO DOO DOO. . .’
I will not go to Countdown. It is a silly place.

The sad part is how completely unsurprising this new facet of his personality is.
Mr. Bird, I’m proud of you for still reading Countdown to keep us little folks informed. The few issues I read were shockingly dismal - I can only fear what Final Crisis will bring.
