That’s really nifty. I saw a lot of little restaurants, shops and vending machines in still-operating shrines in Japan. Different ideas of sacred spaces, one supposes. I’m glad such beautiful architecture is being preserved.
Dutch architects must be the world’s laziest architects. “Look, we just plopped some really drab metal shelving units in the middle of the church! Give us an award! We did not even try! Gorgeous lighting plan? We call it ‘lightbulbs’!”
