It’s not often that you hit a line at random in an interview that completely summarizes everything you need to read, but here we go:

I love “Enemy of the State.” I feel it’s one of the best things I’ve done.

…That’s enough for me right there.

See, “Enemy of the State” wasn’t bad or anything, but, come on - it’s six issues of Logan fighting other superheroes, then six issues of him fighting ninjas. It’s entertaining, but it’s kind of one-note.

Oh, I’m just looking forward to Spider-Bitch. In fact, I think Mark Millar should start an entire line of “edgy” female descendants of current superheroes. “Iron Bitch!” “The Incredible Bitch!” “The Fantastic Hoes!” “The X-Bitches!” “The Avengers…Bitch!”

God, what I wouldn’t give for talent like that. (Specifically, the talent I’ve already got.)

I hope the secret about Wolverine isn’t that he somehow turned the tide in favor of the bad guys. In a world with Thor, Iron Man, Sentry, the crazy powerful mutant of the month, and such, it’s tough for me to see how a guy like him could really make much of a difference.

Well, what’s next?

Frank Miller’s All Star Wolverine where he shags Jean Grey on a pier?

WHORES WHORES WHORES etc.

But seriously, it’s like he’s basically TRYING to make DKR. And when you try to make DKR, do you know what happens?

The Dark Knight Strikes Again, that’s what.

I for one would like to read 8 issues about Logan farming and rasing a family. The trope of “Character finds peace, but his new life is destroyed, forcing him to go out and get revenge.” has been beaten into the ground so long and hard that the crater is visible from space…

Isn’t this a bit like Batman: Year One Hundred? How did the fans like that one, anyways?

Well, Andrew didn’t you know Wolverine is THE GREATEST X-MAN EVER!!! Don’t believe me? Marvel has a top ten list on their site with him at #1 to prove it. It also proves that Cable is cooler than Kitty Pryde, and Professor X deserves the #5 spot
