Well, I think Exodus 22:18 has the proper verse for this:

U no let teh witches liev! Srsly!

Misguided, but very ambitious. They’ve already put in a lot of work, and the amount of translation they’ve done is staggering.

I laughed so hard that I now have tears.

And really, it’s not that funny. But ” Zion sayz ‘I can haz frenz?’ but nobudy givz belly rubz” really spoke to me.

Roel, why do you think this is ‘misguided’? They’re just trying to be funny.

Seen it. LOL’d it. I was only interested in Genesis and Revelations anyways.

“They’re just trying to be funny.”

There’s a key word in this sentence that answers the question in your first.

I think I’m safe in saying that a little LOLcat goes a long, long way.

Dear Salmo,

I believe it’s misguided because the same amount of time, effort, and energy could have been spent doing something productive. Instead, it’s an LOLcat translation of the bible. If that’s not a misguided application of effort, then I’m not sure what is.

I mean, they could have stopped after 10 pages and we would have gotten the joke. They needed to do the entire book? Is anyone ever going to read the entire thing? Seriously? I doubt it.

They took a one-note joke and just went completely overboard with it.

Thus — “misguided.”
