SPECIAL LIMITED TIME OFFER

Did you know you can run your car on water? It’s true! Just send me $500 and I will send you a kit explaining the miracle of oxyhydrogen, also known as “Brown’s Gas,” and you will never again have to worry about fueling up! This miracle fuel which in no way violates the laws of thermodynamics will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

Ha, ha, just kidding! You’re too smart to fall for something like that, and if you send me $25 I will send you a pamphlet explaining exactly why you were so right and smart to immediately dismiss this as a scam, despite the little talking model person in the bottom of the screen.

If you send me an additional fifty dollars, I will also explain why oil prices will not drop significantly until it no longer matters to you that they have dropped. These are bargains, people!

    It’s not complete bunk.

It has been demonstrated that adding hydrogen and water in stoichiometric ratios to the fuel stream can significantly improve combustion and reduce emissions. Although, most of the experiments deal with natural gas, rather than vapourized octane.

In fact, simply squirting water into a cylinder just before ignition can improve output — But your engine won’t last long.

It is plausible that a device like this could improve fuel economy and emissions. However, there is no new technology here. I’m sure other engineers have experimented with the idea and found improvements to be minimal, or that there is long term damage. This is one for the Mythbusters.

    My questions are:
How much water weight to I have to haul around?
    How much device weight?
Does this system actually produce enough gas to have an effect?
Are we adding a hell of a lot of water vapour to the combustion chamber? Does this affect rusting?

I heard about a group of truck drivers protesting the rising cost of oil by… buying a big rig. Or something.

Bah obviously the oil company bought out MGK

“WHY COMPRESS HYDROGEN IN DANGEROUS HIGH-PRESSURE TANKS WHEN IT IS ALREADY “COMPRESSED” IN PLAIN WATER - AND CAN BE EASILY AND SAFELY RELEASED??!”
