Now THAT looks like the cars promised to us as ‘CARS OF THE FUTURE.’ It finally begins. All we need now is flying cars!

Key words: “Concept Car”

You’ll be able to purchase such a vehicle some time after the turn of the next century. Maybe. If they put a rush on it.

Actually, according to the article (you know the thing the link points to?) they’re pushing it out next year in Europe however, if you read the comments it’s highly unlikely that it will ever see production in the States. Mostly because it would be very difficult to get a car built out of carbon fiber and magnesium to pass the crash test standards in place in America, not sure about Canada’s standards but i would imagine they can’t be much more lenient.

I don’t want a car that I can personally break with my own two soft wussy hands. As much as I like to pretend that I am secretly The Hulk, it’s not true.

No mention on sticker price, I see. How much are people willing to pay for low gas mileage?

Another way to deal with high gas prices: Drive faster.

I suspect if you can afford this car, you can also afford the gas for a SUV.
