Would it do any good for we ‘Mericans to add our voices, in the hope of getting a decent copyright system up there to point to and say, “See? we should be doing it THAT way!” ?

Related question, if this bill does become law, would that allow them to come after someone retroactively for stuff they have downloaded in the past.
