A few thoughts: My Mom was watching ABC (at least I think it was ABC) the other night. I wasn’t watching, but was in the next room doing something else. So, imagine my suprise to hear “Life on Mars premiering Friday” and I naively think “Wow! An American station showing a BBC series!” I then saw the commercial myself later and was greatly disappointed.
I recently discovered that my local Fox station is no longer showing reruns of The Simpsons much to my disappointment, especially with Halloween on the way.
Lastly, I’d like to give a shout out to Little Britian USA. If you’ve ever seen the British version or are a fan of way off the beaten path, raunchy humor I greatly recommend this show. It premiers Sundays at 10:30 Eastern on HBO with reruns on Thursdays. There’s only six episodes, but I’m hoping they’ll be back for a second season. It has the same guys (I don’t remember their names) from the original series starring and writing it. And best of all Tom Baker remains as narrator.
I ‘d like to hear more Simpsons’ quotes in the presidential debates.

Pushing Daisies is fucking AWESOME. It’s one of the most creative, funny, original series to come out of the US in years. So of course no one’s watching it. Douchebags.

Yay Pushing Daisies got mentioned.
Its strange how its STILL on Tuesdays in Canada like last season. Only now its on A channel rather than CTV due to lack of faith in viewership.
