I prefer the taste of Diet Pepsi to Diet Coke–so long as I can still recognize the product to be Diet Pepsi, I don’t care what the logo looks like.

That said, my initial reaction to the new look was, “Wow. Very 70s.” And the big “0″ over “cal” “carb” “sug” just looks like some kind of funky tree.

I always found the taste of Diet Pepsi more disagreeable than Diet Coke. Couldn’t tell you why exactly, but there seemed to be a faintly metallic taste to it.

Strangely, I tried some Diet Pepsi with Vanilla recently and found it delicious– not only better than Diet Coke with Vanilla but an actual nice alternative to Diet Coke.

Guess what got canceled in the revamp.

Eh. I gave up on Pepsi years ago when they switched to those wide-necked bottles.

I tried it again a couple of times when they went back to narrow necks, but somehow it just wasn’t right.
