There is no Shermer, Illinois
But there was a Shermerville, IL until a few decades ago, which is why Shermer Rd. has its name.
Huh? They’re missing the punchline to the whole scene.
So sad to see him go. Of all the clips to praise him I wouldn’t have thought of this one as it’s not what I first think of when I think of a Jon Hughes film.
However it’s arguably his funniest. If I had a cap… [running to get a cap] I doff my cap to you sir.

Sad to see him gone, I loved The “Breakfast Club”, as a life long detention hog. That hit me in the right spot.
