War-masks are not quite universal among Bokan soldiers but many paax maintain a particular style of war-mask as a unit tradition. Paax that go maskless tend to have other traditions – the Fifteenth (“the Lion Tamers”) tend to wear long, flowing wigs of “lion mane” (actually usually horsehair).
