The Third Wall was built circa NB 103-107 in response to Uzziri raids and is, despite its name, the oldest of the Three Walls (the First Wall being built circa 191-2 NB and the Second circa 251-3 NB). Although raids from others of the Nine Tribes are obviously no longer a going concern (not even the Gryg would attack Al’Rashad despite their notorious policy of noncompliance), the Walls are still scrupulously maintained.
