The Lojamannislot (Loyal Man’s Castle) was built for King Aijaf the Wary, second king of the Afjar line, but Aijaf never lived in it – largely because he was murdered by his brother, King Erno the Builder (who earned his nickname by virtue of building the actual castle). The irony of the castle’s name is often remarked upon by Gundring historians.
