Ugh, seriously Chuck Norris?
He has a book too. Oh goody.
Sometimes, I wonder what people find more befuddling. The conservatives insistence that they have the power to make or break democratic politicians or the fact that we still pay attention to them when they say it. I thought the whole point of that election… thingy was to show who the majority of Americans agree with.
Chuck Norris is sixty-eight years old. He is physically incapable of doing a roundhouse kick, lest he shatter his brittle old man hips.
Is it just me or does it boil down to “Ok, so you won… now don’t you dare even think of trying to treat us as you were treated by us when we had it all our way, or else”?
Hmm… How does restricting gay rights and making abortions illegal limit the powers of federal government and encourage freedom of expression?
Teddy Roosevelt is indeed way better than Chuck Norris for those jokes. But let’s not forget BILL BRASKY!
“Okay, so you may have won, but dont you dare go on being the left-leaning* politician people actually voted for!” seems to be chucks message here. If the people WANTED a conservative with conservative values, they would have voted for the other guy. But they didnt, they voted for a liberal who makes no bones about being a liberal. That implies to me that the american public want to be lead by, wait for it… a liberal!
*I say left leaning as thats what ol’ chuck says, but to be honest from a UK perspective the 2 US parties are right wing (Republicans) and pretty much centerist (Democrats) rather than left wing.
I still say Nolan Ryan could take Chuck Norris.
