Fezay just kind of showed up, established himself as a distinctive presence, snarked around Rayana and Kahal for a bit, and then… just dies?
It doesn’t feel organic, the way Kleghom or Alric dying did. I sort of feel like Fezay either needed MORE or LESS screentime before killing him off becomes a viable source of pathos.
Well, he calls “a really big fire” a plan, but I get the feeling Fezay has a sub-definition of plan as “something you survive.”
I sort of expect him to survive, though that door closing bit does seem really final…
Nah, he’s not dead. There’s a big hole in one of the walls, if I remember correctly.
Action heroes survive this sort of thing all the time.
What do we think of, “Come at me, you dead sons of bitches?” It’s obviously preferable to “Avast, ye accursèd dæmons, taste my blade forsooth,” of course…
