It’s kind of amazing when you realise that with all the movie trailers out there, there’s really only a handful of guys doing the voice work for 90% of them.

man… this sucks.

A) This is sad.

B) Exar’s clip leaves out those who do characters, like Billy West, Patrick Warburton, Nicole Sullivan, or Phil Lamarr. Of course, those last two also do MadTV, but we won’t speak of that. I get that the focus is on advertising, but West has done loads of that too.

Man, what I would give for one of those personalized answering machine messages.

Jim Cummings does a spot on impersonation of Don’s voice but that will never be the same. Though I doubt they’ll do anything with that considering the backlash Jim got from imitating Louie Prima’s voice in the jungle book cartoons.

It’s somehow hard to to imagine someone making his living just narrating trailers for movies and the like.
