Interesting. My first reaction was that it was a combination of Peter Gabriel’s songwriting with Gerald Scarfe’s Pink Floyd The Wall animation, as directed by Tim Burton.

I’ve raved about that one on my LJ a couple of times. The BatPup (my three-and-a-half-year-old daughter) loves it especially.
