Since prosthetic devices are not medically required, I just make my grandma crawl whenever she needs to go somewhere. You wouldn’t find any socialist wheelchairs in my house!

I enjoy you when you’re full of righteous ire.

Not that I don’t enjoy you regularly, but your verbal smackdowns to those so in need of them verge on downright sexy.

For all his sneering about the comic crowd being sexless nerds, I bet Cory Morgan can’t make the same boast about his own ranting.

I think the part I enjoy most about MGK is that he’s very fine with his cuts. It could just be he’s not all that subtle and I’m just that dumb, but I enjoy that he seems to aim higher than just insulting someone else he’s angry at. And as much fun as a good round of insulting can be to read, MGK seems to have sights set higher and rarely seems to miss.

w00t w00t. Ad hominem from his type is a sign of heading the right direction.

I went back and read your previous article on this subject and have but two comments.

1 – I totally agree with this, especially since there seem to be significant safeguards to assure it isn’t abused.

2 – I am terribly sorry that our right wing is infecting your lovely country. On the bright side, we have a lot of Middle Eastern and Asian countries to work through before we accuse you guys of developing WMDs and invading you, you have time to prepare!

Again, MGK– thank you.

We are MGK’s “comic book folks”. *blinks at the screen for a few minutes, then goes into a corner and giggles*

jevawtmok: Eh, I don’t know. Alberta might be a sleeper cell province….

As just punishment, I suggest reassigning both NHL franchises to Winnipeg and Quebec City.

Wait, transexuals are supposed to live in their parent’s basement well into adulthood? Is that real? Is that an actual stereotype? I’ve never heard that before. Then again, I usually make an effort to associate with people who spend their time and mental energy on things other than bemoaning how much those gosh-darned queers as costing us, with their infrequent and psychologically necessary operations. The nerve.

Well, this is coming from the crackpot that thinks polar bears are not endangered animals…

Uh, no one says they’re endangered. Just sayin’.

“Uh, no one says theyโ€™re endangered. Just sayinโ€™.”

Well, no one except the people who keep the Endangered Species list. And some tree-hugging environmentalists. And maybe a few scientists. But OTHER than that, no no one at all…

His article was one of the most unintentionally funny things I’ve ever read, including but not quite as good as Rex the Wonder Dog.

Wait, transexuals are supposed to live in their parentโ€™s basement well into adulthood? Is that real? Is that an actual stereotype? Iโ€™ve never heard that before.

You clearly don’t hang out with enough people who regularly mock the plethora of openly transgender individuals. Everyone knows that transexuals are notorious mama’s boys. I can’t tell you how many families coddle their little transgender children all through high school and college and well into adult life. Not like those hardened, weather worn, rock ribbed right wing bloggers who were tossed out of the homes of their cruel liberal parents at tender ages and forced to work the streets of down town Toronto giving giant verbal blow jobs to industry executives and elected pols. Cory built his massive fan base and his templated blog hosted on a public server WITH HIS OWN TWO HANDS, DAMN YOU! Free ride hippies wouldn’t understand.

Edited because blockquoting doesn’t work in the comments – MGK

Cory makes me glad that I’m an American. Not that we’re superior or that we don’t have our own douchebags or anything, but at least we don’t have THAT douchebag. Suck it, Canada, he is all yours!

Too much text. Just some line about sinking to your level by replying to a nerd blog would have been enough.

Sadly, GID is still considered a mental disorder under the DSM-IV ๐Ÿ™ And it is looking like it still will be for the DSM-V :\

ReplyReply
mygif

That is that it was never removed from the list of mental disorders. ๐Ÿ™

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mental_illnesses#G

And ppl like Dr. Zucker (who is chairing the workgroup about gender identity for the DSM-V) are still trying to “cure” us :\ He runs a clinic here in Toronto that “cures” transgendered children. His methods are awful ๐Ÿ™ A lot of parents bring their children to him too :\ (he apparently has a waiting list of 80 children right now) He and Ray Blanchard (also at the CAMH) are considered experts in their field, and Blanchard calls transwomen, “transsexual men” and that we are either effeminiate homosexuals, or autogynephiles . ๐Ÿ™

*sighs*

On the bright side, hopefully this means I can have my surgery soon… I’ve been saving for it ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for speaking out about this :]
