Even without the snipers, the simple protester-to-police-officer ratio is amazingly farcical.
And the fact that it’s an anti-police brutality protest just makes me wonder if someone is just taking the piss.
I was hoping it was riot police that would show up, but I guess snipers are ok too. People underestimate how funny cops can be!
But hey, more real-world crowd control experience for what I can only assume is an incredibly bored police force.
Either that or there was an optional sign-up for overtime and more people volunteered than expected.
It just baffles me that nobody saw the irony of having police snipers at a rally against police brutality.
Talk about bringing a gun to a slap fight.
