That was a remarkable display of nothingness. No passion at all. Is it so much to ask to be inspired by a leader?

And you were right, Jack’s use of ‘bling’ and ‘hashtag fail’ was SO awkward.

Nothing particularly decisive either way.

I thought Ignatieff was repetitive in places, but there’s fairly significant evidence that repeating the same thing over and over actually works with ordinary voters (Harper has used it to great effect), so my reaction may not be representative.

Fuck inspiration. I’d settle for a leader who talks to us like we were adults, or who wouldn’t be laughed out of a high school debating society.
