OK, so this is admitedly tasteless, but I have to confess my first thought on hearing this was “I guess Luke did turn to the dark side…”, colorwise at least.

More seriously, I can state from personal experience that I believe him when he says he’s proud of having a kid working in comics. Back in ’88, I was living in LA and went into my usual comics store to pick up the week’s comics. There’s a guy blocking my view of the next rack, so I say “Excuse me…” and he politely moves back a bit to provide me access.

Getting a look at him I think “Y’know, he looks awfully familiar…”. I noticed that he spent a few minutes talking with the store manager at the cash register, so when I go up to pay I ask “Um, was that Mark Hammill?” “Yep. We were just discussing putting a hold on his books since he’s going to be in New York for a few months doing a play.” So he’s clearly into comics himself, as a regular customer of a shop.

Hey, you know Hulk Hogan endorsed Obama a few months ago? Between the two of them, what more do you need? 🙂

I really like that digital cameras are cheap, and lots of people have them, and they’re in lots of cellphones. I get how that’s important.

But when I saw that audience, I was disgusted. Either the person was incredibly disinterested, or was concentrating more on making a recording than on listening.

It’s apparent that there was a professional in the room, recording the thing — why did all these students feel the need to have their own crappy personal copy?

This is why I can barely tolerate concerts these days, too. Fucking kids.

Like anon., I would’ve been much more pleased if this had featured the BtAS Joker.

I think we’re on to something here. Who better to endorse politicians than cartoon villains?

That’s why I’m voting for Cobra Commander and Destro.

Every one knows the Republicans are a front organization for the Decepticons.

Decepticons want to rape the earth of its natural resources and leave it a dry war torn husk of its former self.

Decepticons have no problem stepping on the freedoms of those they claim to be lesser beings to reach their immoral objectives.

Decepticons will attempt to obliterate anyone or anything that gets in their path.

Decepticons will have two or more forms in order to travel unnoticed through the civilized world.

Decepticons will use terms like “Honor” and “Law” to lure their enemies into a false sense of security and then do anything they want when their backs are turned.
