I am going to be really surprised when Skoll turns out to not be a co-conspirator in the King’s death, if that is the case.
I really find myself wondering what other fantasy cultures may exist in this setting. What I’ve seen so far reminds me an awful lot of the tabletop RPG “7th Sea,” which is very much a good thing in my book.
I’m a big fan of 7th Sea, and although this world is quite different in many ways, there are indeed other cultures and you’ll get a look at a few of them in pages soon upcoming.
I look forward to it.
I’m sorry, but the use of the word calumny is really bothering me. Calumny means slander; an insult intended to ruin one’s reputation. The use in that context doesn’t seem right to me. Calamity would certainly be right, but calumny doesn’t quite fit unless he means that the murder of the king is intended as an insult.
