D&D Alignment chart for Farscape!

Feel like tackling the latest round of misogyny accusations in the comic world? Specifically, how big do you think Catwoman’s breasts should be, exactly?

Please pitch a remake/reboot/reimagining of a movie or television series that actually deserves one because it wasn’t that good, but had good ideas and the potential to be something other than mediocre and/or shitty.

I’d prefer sci-fi/fantasy, but I don’t really care what you do because you made me care about Doctor Strange and I gave anti-fucks about him before, so I trust you to make anything interesting.

could you write about garth ennis’ The Boys? recently saw you casually praise it and, being that I really love the comic, would be glad to see your take on it. be sure to talk about The Legend, who is kind of my favorite secondary character in comic books in a long time. good meta writing = awesome.

“I should write Doctor Who!”

Seriously, though…
I’d like to request more on current comics and more on board games. What are you reading/playing these days?

So, you can kick Geoff Johns out of DC and re-reboot the 52. But since you’re busy writing “Dr. Who” and saving Canada, you can’t personally direct the new universe, so you give the power to somebody else and leave a document with the top three rules every DC title must follow so me, you and every other old-timer can give a damn about the DC universe again. What are those three rules?

(and “Crossover with ‘Rex the Wonder Dog’ every other month” doesn’t count)

Did you ever read the Marvel Comics series: Strikeforce Morituri? It came out around the same time as the New Universe books did (1986), but wasn’t a New Universe book. If you did, what did you think of it? Do you think we’ll ever see the movie / backdoor pilot that’s been in the works for a decade?

Let’s assume DC’s movie efforts and Justice League series continues to hit snag after snag (likely), and by some cosmic twisting of events it all gets dropped in your lap. You’re given the mandate to reboot their efforts marvel style, but with one catch. Their needs to be a villain behind all of the plots in the various movies, but not one of the biggies everyone knows (no Lex Luthor or Brainiac for you). You’re mandated to take some low-level DC villain, and realistically ramp him up to being a threat for the big team. Who is your guy in that scenario?

Ah what the hell! We need a Community Alignment Chart! Also, “I Should Write Cthulhu Slash-Fic” (oh dear Lord, the spell-checker knew how to spell Cthulhu), and also suggestions for a Dr. Strange/Rex the Motherf-cking Wonder Dog crossover miniseries.

–Community alignment chart YES
–anything Dr. Who YES
–board games YES

How about an Alignment Chart for board games and/or board game designers? Knizia as Lawful Good, etc?

Would anything on Earth be able to entice Tom Baker to appear as Dr. Who ever again, in particular as part of a every-Doctor-ever crossover for the upcoming big anniversary? (if so, I assume half of that would convince Eccleston)

Is there a way to make the Emmys not suck? Should they introduce “Best New Show/Actor/etc” categories as a counterpoint to nominating Mariska Hargitay EVERY DAMN YEAR? Would that make them not suck? Or is it hopeless?

Was combining the Genies and Geminis a good idea, do you think? Or does it just make them seem more like Golden Globes… which actually might be a step up, come to think of it?

-an essay on Spider-Man in the vein of your essays on Superman and Luthor (your comment in the former on how Spider-Man is Marvel’s most important hero because he got his powers through something he did to himself piqued my interest)

-Sean Bean, Nic Cage, and William Fichtner alignment charts

-more Movies You Probably haven’t Seen (But Should)

-now that we’re approaching the end, a retrospective/further thoughts on Jonathan Hickman’s Fantastic Four run

-Journey Into Mystery: Have you been reading it? If so, your thoughts?

-Which, if any, of the upcoming post-AvX Marvel books/creative teams are you anticipating?

Because I have no idea who’s who these days.

I love the board game and Alignment chart stuff (Which currently makes up my shifting desktop background), so agreed on all those points.

I actually really love your wrestling stuff, and I’d love to see maybe a “Top 5” for things like “Best Arcs in the Last 25 Years”, “Underrated Heels”, etc.

Last request: You are tasked with creating an unique Elseworlds/What If? for either Marvel or DC (i.e. it can’t be a continuation of anything). What would you do?

Wonderman, Community alignment chart, and Spidey essay, and more Who’s Who are all definitely something that I would read.

I wouldn’t mind seeing what you think of all these long form crossovers we’re seeing and they’re aftermath issues, though I’m sure you’ve done something along those lines before.
Some new “Why I Should Write Doctor Strange” would be nice.
I’d like to know what some of your favorite series on TV right now are. And it’d be nice to see a list of the comic titles you’re currently reading and why.
There’s a trailer for the new Bond movie, “Skyfall” so now seems as good a time as any to reflect on the franchise.
Also, I’m love to see a breakdown of the best and worst trends in modern comics.

OK, here’s this, and when you read this I know you’re going to drop everything and start on it, so I apologise for derailing your workday so thoroughly but what the hell, it had to be done:

The darker, grittier, BSG-style reimagining of… Hogan’s Heroes.

Hogan’s Heroes but played straight.

Especially considering the Brits (Special Operations Executive) had a unit especially set up for prison escapes (I think called SOE-X), and combine that with stories about the crazier covert ops of the Irregulars (including Ian Fleming and his cousin Christopher Lee (!)).

Captain Marvel was a better character and comic than Superman and if not for his destruction via lawsuit his dominant market postion would have meant we ended with better comics today: Discuss.

A second topic: When the other heroes talk about Captain America being the heroiest hero in WWII should Namor the Submariner be entitled to strike them with an open hand?

Someone at Warner realizes that re-writing the DC Universe as if it had been rebooted in the ’90s is a terrible idea. You have to fix it without retconning anything or using a Crisis.

(this is really more of a private fantasy of mine. I guess I’d rather see more comic rewrites, as it was your excellent Civil War that got me hooked on your writing in the first place).
