Is this annual reduction a measurement of production or is it a true measurement of supply?

Seconding zenrage. I’m all for shifting to more renewable sources (how many solar & wund farms can you build for the cost of a nuclear power plant, anyway?), but IIRC there were a bunch of shutdowns due to hurricanes this year.

Full electrical grid? Powered by what? The little white holes in the wall?
This idea just shifts the energy generation from oil-fueled car engines to oil-fueled power stations.

Again, someone is WRONG on the internet.

Or solar-fueled power stations. Or nuclear-fueled power stations. Or hydroelectric power stations. Or even just an oil-fueled station that can be made many times more efficient, by virtue of not having to be in a car.

Prisons seem like they’d be an ideal setup for power production. Consider the population, and consider how many treadmills you could have.
