I’m a bit confused here. How exactly did evil goatee-d man enslave one of the Gundring Ambassador’s soldiers without anyone noticing? I was under the impression that that kind of transaction required for the enslaved party to be willing to be sold or presumed dead (like Halfdar was). Some further explanation of this country’s economic system is needed.

Mitchell: You seem to be forgetting that slaves in El Rashad are addicted to a drug called mohl, which can be delivered, apparently, by any liquid. So by having someone offer the guard a drink, he can enslave him (by promising him more mohl).
