Actually, it’s worth booking a flight over here for early next year, we get a lot of fine ASCII art appearing around then.
Unrelated, but I figured you would appreciate this http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=TjfONpsFvyM assuming you hadn’t seen it already
Once more? What happened earlier?
I climbed the Harbour Bridge.
(Look, it’s a really awesome bridge.)
Just in time for our currency to drop again.
*sigh*
It’ll be cool.
Oh, you got a LOT more to be envious of than that. Like, our Stephen Harper? We got rid of him last year. He even lost his seat. Now we got a progressive, sane government that, while very boring, seems at least moderately interested in protecting the weak, redeeming the past and saving the world.
Also, lamingtons and pavlova.
I saw it, too. Was pretty cool.
PS: And I’m no aussie.
I think I saw something approximating maybe-kinda-sorta-could be similar to what Aussies will be seeing tomorrow night. I’m in Israel, and I saw a crescent moon with two very very bright (like, show-up-over-streetlights bright) points of light high above it, like a stretched-out smiley face. If it wasn’t for this post I wouldn’t’ve known to look for it, so- thanks for that!
I saw the smiley!
It was hard to get a picture of but I did my best.
