You have an entire section titled Muzak, but you never really write about your opinions on the current music scene.

I’d like to hear that.

People Steven Harper ought to have a beer summit with.

Your thoughts on Ryan Reynolds now also being Hal Jordon.

The music thing sounds pretty cool. I’m pretty sure Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan was covered a couple of weeks ago.

Your thoughts on Legion of Three Worlds 5? I think people are curious to see if you love the last few pages or absolutely detest them. (There is very little middle ground.)

What do you consider the storytelling mechanics of a “good” webcomic? Not just “what plots work well for webcomic” but “what do writers of webcomic have to take into consideration, regardless of premise and theme”?

You haven’t done a “three executives” post in awhile. I always liked those.

I’d like to hear your opinion on our (the U.S.’s) current health care goings-on.

Everyone seems to have some type of opinion on it, and yours usually seem to be more thought-out than most, so I’d be interested.

you started a fantasy baseball league, and yet i hear little from you about baseball. rectify this somehow, be it regarding steroids, your favorite/least favorite players, or why throwing at Ryan Braun should be constitutionally mandated. thanks

Language politics in Canada. Have heard bits about French in Canada, but I’m curious if you have the same “Why won’t immigrants learn our language” attitude that people often have in the United States.

You’ve posted about webcomics; what do you think makes a webcomic great or horrid? What is it that makes someone like Karl Kerschl so fantastic, and someone like Tim Buckley so twisted and talentless?

Your long-term political goals for the NDP.

I know you support the NDP, and hell, I would too if I were Canadian, but you do realise how very, very few third parties in the Western world have ever won against a two-party duopoly? Generally, a third party, once successful enough, gets absorbed into one of the two ‘major’ parties, or a merger takes place (like the Canadian Conservatives). So: do you want to see the NDP as the sole governing party, or as a coalition partner to the Liberals, or just as a ‘ginger group’, pushing liberal reforms from the outside of government?

How about interjecting certain marvel or dc heroes into syndicated television shows.

I think Deadpool would go great with Law and Order: SVU.

You are (or, well, were, at any rate) often apologizing for a past of playing White Wolf games. As a person who still does play them, I’m intrigued as to why you seem so adverse towards them. Is it due to the re-creation of their systems (which seems about equal to D&D’s restarting), or there something else, perhaps something more sinister at work?

Also, since it seems that you feel something is wrong with it, what would you do to make it better, or is the entire company beyond reproach entirely?

[Note: Even though I share the name of their art director, I promise I don’t work for White Wolf. Just a curious party.]

A few weeks ago, my dad said that if everyone switched to electric cars, there would be constant black/brown outs and electricity bills would sky rocket. He said the future was in public transit.

How true is that? Just a response in the comments is fine.

I’ve read for a long time, I’ve made a few smartass remarks, but I would like to know what makes a good arresting story in your none-too-humble opinion. Not worrying about the medium, the parts and craft that make a great tale, regardless of novel, story comic, film, or even something like a Micheal Bay production.

Failing that, the fandom controversy of Avatar’s live action casting – why it was allowed, and what will likely come of it.

TV shows that I should have watched but didn’t. I’m beginning to run out of things to watch that aren’t offensively stupid or “Reality” shows.

And, no, I should not watch SYTYCD.

I was going to say more stuff on comics overall since this place, except for the Jason Todd thing and Thursday “Who’s Who,” has been fairly funnies-lite for a while (and no, I don’t mean any “I Should Write…”), but instead, I’d rather hear what you think of the bashing Canada’s health care system has been getting all summer long in the American media. Has anyone gotten anything right about it in the US? Anything particularly egregiously twisted out of shape, or even outright made up? Face it: in the world of comics geeks, you’re the top go-to wonk on this subject.

I’m a bit late, but how about a good comic book character defense? Pick a character that you think is unfairly maligned, and see if you can build a good case for why they should be given more respect, or at least another chance.

You seem to love So You Think You Can Dance, however the few times I’ve tried to watch it I had to change the channel immediately when Mary Murphy starts talking. And I know more people who don’t watch the show because of her than watch it despite her. What are your thoughts on her presence and what she brings to the show? (Nigel seems mildly amusing and mostly harmless)
