They should have just dressed her like Luigi, Super Mario World style.
I’m sure they’ll be played out too. But this will still be funny because it was first, or close to it. Also with decent production values.

Call me petty and nit picky, but I spent way too much time trying to figure out what a “plummer” was, until I had realized they had misspelled “plumber” several times.
Or is this misspelling some sort of Mario universe thing?
Nope. Tarantino just won’t explain why he misspelled ‘Inglourious’, whereas ‘Basterds’, is phonetic apparently.
I was disappointed. With the Colonel Blimp moustache I was expecting Plummers to be people with Plummy accents.
Christopher and Amanda Plummer are both glorious.

I get no jollies from Super Mario Brothers anymore.
A better question would be: “Are Mario parodies more played out than 300 parodies ever were, or could be?” And the answer is FUCKING YES THERE IS NO FRESH WAY TO APPROACH THAT GODDAMN CONCEPT ANY MORE.
