I know there are still four months left in 2009, but there’s just no way that this isn’t the best comics moment of the year. There’s just no way.
There are two types of people in the world: people who like Roger Langridge’s The Muppet Show comic, and BAD PEOPLE.

That’s utterly fantastic.
The recap page of this week’s issue was brilliant too.
You know… the writing on this series does feel right… but I only actually read the first issue because of the art; the artist isn’t all that great at translating the Muppet ‘look’ into 2D.
Is the Muppet Robin Hood miniseries as good as the Muppet Show book?
I say hear, hear, MGK. I didn’t think the Muppets could be adequately translated to comic book form until I saw that series. I should have known Langridge would be the bastard to pull it off.
That is great.
There’s a third kind. People who may or may not like it if they could get it, but can’t because apparently none of the BOOM books are on sale in Britain.
Damn it.
eh, a similar gag was done in Muppets in Space.
Given that Disney now owns both the Muppets and Marvel, I sort of want to see Roger Langridge (or somebody, possibly a team up) write Gonzo meets Deadpool.
This Marvel deal better not screw up Boom’s Muppet contract.
I didn’t know there was a Muppet Show comic to be honest. I’ve never seen it at the comic shop I frequent. Guess I’ll check it out.
I like it!!! I’m a good person!!!
I thought Disney didn’t own the muppets anymore? I think Henson is its own company now.
Artist is code for chickenfucker, right?
I’ve never heard of a Muppet Show comic either. Maybe they don’t sell it around here.
DistantFred – to answer your question: no. And I think BOOM! knows it, too.
I’m digging on Langridge’s Muppets. It feels more completely, authentically MUPPET SHOW than just about anything else that’s been done with the idea – including MUPPETS TONIGHT.
ps238principal – I believe Henson had the Muppets back briefly, but sold the rights to Disney; they needed the money, alas.
Where’d the image go?
never mind, glitch
