That was insanely cute and not a little disturbing.

Morbo: I ignored your warning and went to read the comments, but found them disabled. I am now INTENSELY curious, so thank you.

That is depressing as hell. Poor things.

It looks like they’re being well cared for, Snap; as long as they’re capable of eating and drinking and so forth, I see no moral problem in being entertained by them. 🙂

I laughed . . . then I looked up the user profile and found that the black & white kitten died today due to respiratory failure. Now I’m glum.

I think Spike would have wanted it this way.

Poor little spazzers. What kind of jackhole has fainting kittens, and doesn’t put down a freaking RUG? Well-cared for my Aunt Fanny, they got nothing but hardwood to fall on.

Other than that they seize up and fall over and are paralyzed for a minute every time they hear a noise, John? That isn’t much of a life even if they are cared for. According to the vid description, the b&w one has passed due to respiratory failure, which is common enough among kittens that it might not be linked to this disease, but given that the symptoms include involuntary choking and gagging, who knows? In any case, the other kitten has a tough life ahead.

That is the most awesomely fucked-up video I have seen in a long time, and I thought it was hilarious until I found out that one of them died. Now I don’t know what to think, but I do believe in reincarnation, so hopefully that one kitten will come back not so flopsy next time.

Up until I read the comments, I thought the kitties were being replaced with toy dolls that simulated jumping from a standing position and landing lously. Y’know, like every other defective furry toy that was supposed to “move” realisticly.

Then I thought the kitties were suffering from narcolepsy, where they would fall asleep at the drop of a hat. Then I found out that the hat dropping was making them fall asleep. Or inducing miniture seizures.

I’m still unsure how to categorize this.

How would you even know if a kitten was narcoleptic, DeBT? They’re baby cats. They’re supposed to fall asleep without warning.

Also, this may be cute but the cat lover in me mostly just thinks “poor kitties.”

It was in the paper this morning that one of them has died. It’s somehow less funny now…still funny but less so
