The CRTC did something bad, but not quite as bad as the other bad things they’ve done recently, so a lot of people didn’t hear about it. I have attempted to correct that at Torontoist.

Wow. So proud to be Canadian these days. It’s pretty amazing that part of the CRTCs job isn’t watching the very TV they are here to oversee. Much Music hasn’t been an actual music station for what, 7 years?

Man, I’m seeing a lot of parallels between US and Canadian TV. I’m guessing MuchMusic is like our MTV, where they used to play music videos but moved to crappy reality shows about pregnant teens.

And don’t get me started on TLC. Learning Channel my ASS, they should just call every show “Uninteresting White People” or “Something About Weddings.”

A glossary of the acronyms used in the article would probably help it make sense to those who are unfamiliar with the situation and/or groups involved.

A “The story so far…” box might have helped, too.
