Not really searching for clues, but the story is holding my interest. Curious to see where you go with it.
Jefferson was a diplomat/intellectual whereas Eisenhower was a military man, so my guess is that this foreshadows upcoming debate about diplomacy versus military action.
Or it could mean that in their spare time, MGK kills Nazis while his artist fathers secret black babies on his hot slave woman. I’m equally inclined to believe either theory.
It was Thomas Jefferson who decided to do away with the Barbary Pirates when the major European nations were gritting their teeth and paying paying them off.
And the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Battle Group has recently been assigned to the western Indian ocean to put a damper on a similar situation, though I can’t imagine that their rules of engagement will allow anything really significant to be accomplished.
@Ambrael:
I hope that’s not what the clue suggests, because that’s not even remotely good history.
‘Course not. Good history takes, like, effort and thought, and stuff. I just thought I’d throw out the coincidence for discussion.
