Today is the last day to vote in the 2012 Rec.sport.pro-wrestling Awards! So if you started a vote and did not finish it, or if you haven’t voted at all (and this assumes that you like pro wrestling, of course), get on that, because there are a number of races right now that are very close and a couple more where a last-minute strong showing by one candidate could cause a major upset. DRAMA!
(Also, we have received very few voter submissions for comments, so you all still have the opportunity to have your opinions IMMORTALIZED ON THE INTERNET along those of such luminaries as myself, Chris Sims, Brandon Stroud of Best and Worst of Raw, and Danielle Matheson of Best and Worst of Impact. Anything I find particularly insightful or funny about your votes I will probably use, so send them along to this email.)

I get the feeling Hiroshi Tanahashi will not be winning the RSPW award for best wrestler like he did for The Wrestling Observer Awards
Just so long is Davey Richards wins worst wrestler, everything else is gravy.
Vice Magazine just posted that Rob Ford is keeping his job. This is like a sack of bricks in the face, and I have never been to Tronna.
What is going on over there?
@Brian: I actually didn’t even know what he and his buddies did in Iowa prior to voting here, and after I saw it listed in the nominations for “most depressing news item” or whatever, I looked it up.
I stayed a fan of Richards even after most fans turned on him and decided he was overrated. After reading that story, though, and reading about how he handled things afterwards? Guy’s a complete prick, and the wrestling business would be better off if him and everybody like him retired.
Wrestling is full of pricks, that doesn’t bother me.
No selling a superplex? That bothers me.
Doing basically a career long tribute to Chris Benoit? That bothers me on two levels, both the obvious moral one, and the whole fact that he clearly doesn’t understand what made Benoit good, so it’s a really shitty tribute anyway.
But, yes, he is a prick as well. And fucking terrible in the ring. The second one is why he was my vote for worst wrestlers (even if Kofi Kingston is probably actually worse than him. And Khali.)
