The video’s better than the song, and as they’re a professionally signed band whose fan-base is not composed entirely of drooling idiots, that’s saying a lot. Bravo.
Very good, although the intro is ever so slightly off-putting. (Possibly due to the use of the word “zany” in cold blood. Not sure.) I think you could cut straight to the song, and it’d explain itself.
Good video direction. It was a lot more interesting than actually listening to the song itself.
A great band (one whose songs are going to last a generation or two) needs to be a combination of good vocal ability and good music ability. If a band can not perform an entertaining instrumental or a cappella well, then it really can’t expect to create a good harmony of the two.
A recipe can only be as good as its ingredients. Or as Jeff Foxworthy once said “if you mix stagnant pond water with raw sewage, you ain’t exactly getting Evian.”

A little bit evocative of The Odds’ “Heterosexual Man” video, though this was more amusing.
Music Potential: B
Lyric/Vocal Potential: C+
