Man, solar energy’s getting crazy. Two months ago it was “You can make solar cells in a pizza oven with an inkjet printer and some nail polish,” and today it’s “wrap solar cells around a pencil.” What’s tomorrow? Spray-can solar cells?

You know what I think the next step to solar panels should be?

Windows. Actual replacement of windows. Imagine, buses and cars with solar panels for windows. Combine that with the electric car and that other new technology from a few months ago where you can start storing the energy and boom.

Fantastic! Solar powered pencils!
