Good gods. That man had at least seven testicles. Amazing.

Those of us who lived in the smaller cities nearby, in the shadow of Toronto, remember Dailey and the old Moses Znaimer owned City TV fondly too.
We got CP24 out in Stratford (maybe London did too, not sure), it was largely a buzzfeed all about Toronto’s routine stuff; traffic, weather etc, but Dailey’s pressence made it it a pleasant channel to have on.

Great obituary.

Dailey was absolutely one of Toronto’s defining institutions, and should be recognized as such.

The guy ruled.

I’m shocked by the news.

I can still clearly remember his “Not-So-Great Movies” intro for “Bolero”: “Viewer discretion advised; some scenes contain nudity, adult situations, and very, very bad acting.”

He will be dearly missed.

Nicely written. I was sad when I heard about this on the radio. It won’t be the same without him.
