Okay, for the first time in this comic, I’m not just happy to be along for the ride, but am excited to see what’s about to happen. I guess I’m a sucker for an “I am not left-handed” moment.
Speaking of which, I’m finding Snarky Pirate’s missing right arm a bit distracting in the final panel. Over all, though, I continue to love the art.

It’s not missing – his arm is obscured because he’s holding the sword. Track the length of the blade and see where his hand would be.
Indeed, but now here I am arguing with myself over whether at least a bit of his sleeve should be visible or his shoulders should be twisted more to the right, instead of concentrating on this week’s lesson: do not underestimate that pirate.
It’s a detail. As far as I’m concerned, the other panels are faultless, and I have been absolutely loving the lighting in the dungeon and the relaxed, powerful physical presence of Beardy Jr’s cellmate.
