Ok, Really nice Clash influenced guitar and rhythm. Could be improved 20% by toning down the growl by half at the end – p-p-p-paper girl).
And lose the female singer. Babydoll vocals have no place in this style of music, and she’s not even good at it.
I’ll be watching these guys though — lots of potential.

Seriously, how could anyone who likes girls not like THAT girl?
I’ve had just about enough of these wispy voiced baby-dolls try and “cute” their way through a song. And she’s not that good at it either. Listen carefully between 0:54 and 0:58. There’s really bad harmonics in there.
She doesn’t add to the song at all. She makes it sound like just another shampoo commercial with a Ukelele.
Yeah, because the guy seriously belongs in opera.
No, his voice doesn’t belong in an opera. It belongs in rock and roll.
Hers doesn’t. It’s a thin, reedy voice that only subtracts from the song.

Seconded.
But the contrast is *the point*. If it’s just the guy, then the song is just another somewhat misogynist rock rant about terrible women; if it’s just her, it’s just another forgettable slightly catchy pop thing. The two of them together is what makes the song stand out, and makes the song’s narrative, what minimal amount there is of it, work.
…Okay, I can’t tell any more. Is this a genuine debate, or a feeding the troll exercise?
Arguing about subjective tastes in anything is always an exercise in feeding the troll. It’s just that everyone involved is trolling each other.
I liked the video and the song. Nothing life changing, but it made me want to hear more.
