Once, while browsing an online electronics components store’s “Clearance” section, I found a 300m spool of EL wire for about $700.

I eventually chose to pay rent that month instead, but it was a near thing.

This is all the more impressive when you consider that they have to do all this in the dark. They can’t look for their marks or fellow dancers or whatever to make sure that they’re in the right place.

Great Machine, I was wondering about that. Perhaps they actually have some dim lights (on costumes or strategically placed on stage?) visible enough to them at close range but unnoticeable by the audience, to help serve as some guide?

Not saying they do, but wondering.

Pretty killer routine, but the gimmick appears to have been done first by Team iLuminate on America’s Got Talent.
