I still remember the 150th birthday celebrations. My little sister was part of some photo op in period clothing, and we all got gold-plated badges (which I still have somewhere).
Being one of those rare people from my part of Canada (Vancouver) who has absolutely nothing against Toronto (in fact the the part of Canada I dislike the most is Alberta), I still have to quibble with the use of a couple of things that are Canada-wide rather than Toronto-specific, like gay marriage.
