I’m rather surprised that there aren’t any which finger Scalzi for having hacked through the Hugos ceremonies like Conan on crack, with his latest victim being the pained fellow stage left.

kenb3: John Scalzi, as the last photo states. Apparently he writes a sci-fi series call Old Man’s War. I’ve never heard of it though, I had to look it up on Wikipedia.

Sage: He’s also written a bunch of non-fiction stuff, with subjects ranging from Astronomy, Writing, the Internet, and his blog, which he’s been writing since ’98. The Hugo in his hand is actually for Your Hatemail Will Be Graded, a selection of journal entries from the first decade of the Whatever.

A FRED GARVIN reference? I have doubts that will actually be gotten by many people.

Oh, man, all that and not a link back to The Source?

For shame!

(For once, having actually yanked the picture off the original camera, I *am* actually the source of this one.)

The gentleman Stage Left is Frank Wu, and he’s just being Frank Wu.

BTW, I totally got the Fred Garvin reference and thought it was very funny!

He’s actually mocking me personally on that one. I’m impressed!

(I also got a copy of one of Charlie Stross’s as-yet-unreleased books, signed by the author. This was awesome)
