I was vaguely tempted to do the legendarily mediocre progressive rap band instead, but they didn’t have enough members and there’s no “Chaotic Not Good at Songs” alignment.

I assume we’ll also be seeing 30 Rock, this week, right? RIGHT?!?*
Clearly, you have a mess of free time on your hands here. Perhaps My Little Ponies have alignments as well…
entirely correct, if only on an incredibly relative scale. Incredibly relative.
“A trick is something a prostitute does for money, Michael.”
I’m not so sure about that “lawful” evil.
I think you should do a chart for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer film, just to send the Joss Whedon fans into conniptions.
BtVS movie? The Watcher’s LG, Buffy’s NG, Pike is CG, the principle is LN (“Citation, citation, citation”), and the other cheerleaders and the vampires fill up the rest of the slots. PeeWee Herman’s vampire would make an excellent CN for his death scene alone.
Well done. I think Tobias is really Chaotic Neutral, but I suppose he fills that corner better than anybody else.
I’m not sure if Michael qualifies as anything near “good” post-Season One.
quality as a whole, but I’d move GM over to Lawful Good, Michael down to Lawful Neutral and slot Buster in at Neutral Good.
on the other hand, maybe Oscar’s the closest the show would ever come to Neutral Good.
and Annyong might be more Chaotic Evil than the Bluths can handle.
I also wouldn’t oppose the idea of Franklin as True Neutral.
okay, okay. I’ll stop.
I feel like George Sr.’s quote here should be “I may have committed some *light* treason.”
That says Neutral Evil to me.
GOB as Chaotic Evil? COME ON!
Great stuff. I’d swap Michael and George Michael (Michael’s bent the rules to suit himself on occasion, whereas GM starts hyperventilating when the banana stand books don’t add up) but otherwise this works really well.
while there’s probably better representations for this alignments in the shoe, if you’re gonna do the main family, this is probably how I would do it.
Just using secondary characters, Wayne Jarvis should be Lawful Neutral, Stan Sitwell or Pastor Veal should be Lawful Good, as someone else said, Annyong would be Chaotic Evil, Carl Weathers would be the True Neutral… Chaotic Neutral would be Barry Zuckercorn, Chaotic Good would be Sally Sitwell, Neutral Good would be Steve Holt. Maggie Lizer would be the Lawful Evil, and Zach Braff’s character that did the Girl’s with low self-esteem would be the neutral Evil.
[…] been quite entertained by what Christoper Bird has been doing with Alignment Chart week, and wanted to make one of my own. I thought about re-doing the Glee chart, because it’s […]
I agree with Robin Shortt. Flip Michael & George Michael and this is perfect.
Alignment Chart needed for:
Top Gear
Mythbusters
ESPN’s Around the Horn
Justice League Unlimited
Debbie Does Dallas
and, obviously, Teletubbies
“GOB as Chaotic Evil? COME ON!”
Perfect response 😀
I didn’t see Michael as particularly non-Good, but surely Buster as LG makes a lot of sense, if you want. He’s certainly lawful and acts more out of desire to do good and/or help loved ones than anyone else. Certainly, he gets it wtong, but I can’t think of any actually rules he breaks.
How about an alignment chart for Cable News personalities?
I love that you used the Charlie Brown Christmas Special tribute episode for your NG screencap.
You know a cast has a skewed sense of ethics when the analrapist is the chaotic good.
@Mary Warner
that totally made me think Always Sunny. Every single person as chaotic evil?
@dom
Not even close. Charlie is Chaotic Neutral, Dennis is Lawful Evil, Frank is more of a True Neutral, Mac is Neutral Evil, and Dee is Lawful Neutral. There really isn’t anyone that is legitimately Good or legitimately Chaotic Evil. Of course, they might have changed the alignments around a bit, I’m still going off of 2nd Edition. Unlike many of these I’m also not trying to fill in slots… this is just how it best appears to me.
Maybe the Waitress is a Neutral Good, but that’s the best I can think of. You really have to go out to secondary characters (Mrs. Kelly would probably make Lawful Good) if you want to fill the grid.
[…] seen a lot of these recently. But one seemed to be […]
Just found this. Good chart. I’d flip Michael and Buster, though. Michael is *much* more self-serving.
I don’t use Netflix. I just saw the fourth season on DVD. Any chance for a new chart? Michael probably doesn’t qualify as Lawful Good anymore. Maybe George Michael does?
