Any verification? Only Wikipedia (and the Muppet Wiki) list a death date, and both say “[Citation needed]”. Google’s not turning up any news site obituaries, and Yahoo! News has nothing.

It’s sad to think that most people won’t even realise who the voice of their favourite cartoon or puppeteered characters is until they have passed away. Sadly, I fit into that category. RIP Jerry Nelson. Your legacy will live on.
