Hey, they mentioned Bryan Lee O’Malley! And in the same breath as Michael Ondaatje, no less.
I still remember the 150th birthday celebrations. My little sister was part of some photo op in period clothing, and we all got gold-plated badges (which I still have somewhere).
Must.. Resist… Temptation… To.. Make… Obvious… Comparison.. To People.. Who Are… Regularly.. Beaten… in Reference to… Reason.. Number… Seven…

Goddamn, I miss Toronto. I feel like the stupid ex-boyfriend who is just realising what he left too soon.
Being one of those rare people from my part of Canada (Vancouver) who has absolutely nothing against Toronto (in fact the the part of Canada I dislike the most is Alberta), I still have to quibble with the use of a couple of things that are Canada-wide rather than Toronto-specific, like gay marriage.
