Growing up this man directed so many of my favrorite movies, to this day I still quote The Last Boy Scout. I will always love The Hunger as well, if for no other reason than for the opening scene.
True Romance is an absolute classic.
Man, I was REEEEALY hoping the clip was the scene where he talks up Kirby’s Surfer as the real Surfer. Soooo goooood.
Definitely sucks. Word is that he had some form of inoperable brain cancer, though we’ll see if that was actually true.
So many of his movies were favorites, and I was a huge fan of Numb3rs.
I’d been hearing the same about brain cancer in this case. It’s sad any which way you put it.
